PRIVACY POLICY

Basic Policy

To facilitate our business, TAKE and GIVE NEEDS(the “T&G”)has collected and used user’s personal information. For purpose of this Privacy Policy, Personal Information means not only information that identifies a particular individual, such as the individual’s name, postal address, and telephone number, etc. but also other information such as consumer product preferences etc. that is associated with personally identifiable information. Recognizing that it is our responsibilities to appropriately protect the Personal Information, we will handle the Personal Information pursuant to the basic policies below.

  • Preparation of rules concerning the handling of personal information
    Rules on the Protection and Management of Personal Information that specify the persons in charge, scope of handling, and methods have been established for each phase of acquisition, use, storage, provision, and deletion/disposal of personal information, and efforts are being made to ensure compliance by all executive officers and employees.
  • T&G will manage our customers information appropriately and take the security management measures necessary to prevent leaks, loss, alteration, etc.
  • T&G will abide by the Japanese legislation regarding Protection of Personal Data and other related laws and regulations.
  • T&G will appropriately handle and, from time to time, endeavor to improve the handling of, the Personal Information, based on the practices that are generally accepted as fair and reasonable.

Purposes of Use

We do not use personal information (the “Personal Information”) for any purposes other than those stipulated in the following items.

  • To provide our products and services to customers
  • To introduce our products,services,and campaign to customers
  • To request customers to provide us with their opinion and review concerning our service
  • To create statistical material categorized per customer attribute for product development and marketing.
  • To contact customers and respond to inquiry.

<Business entrustment>
From time to time, T&G may entrust its business operations to third parties to which personal information may also be disclosed to the extent required. In these cases, we will implement all appropriate measures with such third parties to safeguard the confidentiality of customer data, including establishing agreements on the handling of such personal information.

Disclosure to or Sharing with the Third Party

T&G will not disclose or provide personal customer information to any third parties except under the following circumstances.

  • Customer consent has been obtained.
  • Disclosure or provision is required within the scope allowed by laws or regulations.

About disclosure and correction of Personal Information

We will respond to customer requests for the disclosure and the correction in relation to your personal data retained by T&G, within a reasonable timeframe and scope. A customer request may be rejected partially or entirely if compliance with such request would result in a violation of laws or regulations.

Security measures

T&G will appropriately protect the Personal Information by taking the following security measures to prevent the Personal Information from divulgence, loss, or damage.Besides,we will implement all appropriate measures with third parties and employees to safeguard the confidentiality of customer data.

  • Establishment of the basic policy
    This Privacy Policy has been established in order to ensure the appropriate handling of personal information and to abide by the Japanese legislation regarding Protection of Personal Data and other related laws and regulations.
  • Preparation of rules concerning the handling of personal information
    Rules on the Protection and Management of Personal Information that specify the persons in charge, scope of handling, and methods have been established for each phase of acquisition, use, storage, provision, and deletion/disposal of personal information.
  • Organizational security measures
    A person responsible for the handling of personal information (Chief Information Security Officer) has been appointed, and the persons responsible for handling personal information and the scope of such handling have been specified. Also, a system for reporting and communicating to the Chief Information Security Officer in the event a fact or sign of a violation of a law, regulation or internal rule has been established, and self-audits and audits by another division on the status of the handling of personal information are regularly conducted.
  • Human security measures
    Matters concerning the confidentiality of personal information have been stipulated in the Work Rules, and training on the handling of personal information is regularly provided to employees.
  • Physical security measures
    Entry and exit management in the areas where personal information is handled, restrictions on bringing devices into such areas, and management of browsing rights are thoroughly being implemented. Also, measures are being implemented to prevent the theft, loss, etc. of the devices, electronic media, documents, etc. used for the handling personal information and to prevent personal information from being easily revealed when carrying around such information.
  • Technical security measures
    The workers and their scope of handling are limited by implementing access controls, etc., and a framework for protecting the information systems that handle personal information from unauthorized access and malware is being implemented.
  • Grasping of external environment
    In case we handle personal data in a foreign country,security measures are being implemented based on an understanding of the systems concerning personal information in the above countries.

Utilization of Google Analytics

T&G uses the Google Analytics service of Google LLC in order to look into Web traffic to the website run by T&G. Google Analytics uses “cookies” to collect, record and analyze data about Web traffic to the T&G Website.
Google Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information.It results in T&G does not collect that from Google Analytics. The data collected by Google Analytics is managed in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
